Agrostemma
Agrostemma, or corn cockle, is a slender grain-field annual bearing wide, open trumpets of soft lilac-pink veined with fine pencil lines, held aloft on airy, wiry stems. Florists prize it for the movement and see-through height it brings to loose, meadow-inspired bouquets and arrangements. Its delicate flowers and long stems create a natural, wildflower feel perfect for garden-style and editorial work. Once a common cornfield weed, it now returns to cutting gardens for exactly that untamed grace.
