Conditioning
Cut the woody stem on a sharp angle and stand it in clean water with flower food. Remove any lower leaves that would sit in the water. Banksia lasts for weeks fresh and dries easily — simply stand it upright in a dry, airy place. Keep it cool and out of direct heat to hold the colour.
