Grevillea · aka spider flower
Grevillea is an Australian native grown for its finely divided, fern-like foliage and curious clusters of curling 'spider' flowers in reds, pinks and creams. Designers use it chiefly as a soft, textural foliage or filler that adds movement and a wild, garden-gathered feel. It is hardy and long-lasting, weaving greenery and flashes of flower colour through bouquets and arrangements. The delicate leaves contrast beautifully with bolder proteas and banksias.

Conditioning
Recut the stems on an angle and place them in clean, cool water. Strip any lower leaves that would fall below the waterline. Grevillea is undemanding but appreciates fresh, well-fed water to keep the fine foliage from wilting. Keep it cool and out of drafts to extend its life.
