Conditioning
Cut woody stems at a sharp angle and split thick ends to help water uptake. Strip lower leaves and give a long, deep drink in cool water before arranging. Olive can be prone to wilt if under-hydrated, so condition well and keep cool. Out of water in installations it holds for a day or two, but rehydrate whenever possible.
