Culver's Root
Veronicastrum, or Culver's root, sends up elegant tapering spires that branch into candelabra-like tips, each densely packed with tiny florets in white, soft blue, lavender and pink. Florists prize it as a refined, garden-style line flower that adds height, delicacy and gentle movement to summer arrangements. Its slender, whip-like form contrasts beautifully with rounded focal blooms in loose, naturalistic designs. Taller and more graceful than common veronica, it is a favourite for airy, romantic wedding and installation work.

Cut stems at an angle and place in clean, cool water with flower food, removing lower leaves that would sit underwater.
